TRIFECTA Backyard Sessions: The Snow-Surf-Skate Destination Unveils New Live Series

Fresh off ollie-ing into the scene with a kick-off festival back in November, TRIFECTA now reveals more tricks in its arsenal with the launch of TRIFECTA Backyard Sessions. The versatile venue made plenty of noise as Singapore’s first surf-snow-skate destination, and it’s shown that it’s been an advocate of the music scene as well with a bevy of pop-up performances over the past few months.
The Backyard Sessions is its latest entry that hopes to nurture and nourish the local indie circuit. A free event for everyone, the live music series takes over TRIFECTA’s Skate Bowl for a unique and intimate stage experience that puts you close to the action. And with the ensemble they’ve got lined up, you’ll wanna land yourself a comfy spot.

The inaugural batch of artists for the TRIFECTA Backyard Sessions is a round-up of fan favourites and left-field trailblazers. Hip-hop devotees will be chuffed to catch the smooth wordplay and rhyme wizardy of Mary Sue who will debut new tracks from his upcoming album, and bilingual rapper Akeem Jahat who’s set to headline the event. The mesmeric craft of singer-songwriter Joie Tan will leave you in a warm and fuzzy daze. And then you have indie-rockers Islandeer who are also expected to tease upcoming material. The Backyard Sessions concludes with an afterparty led by weelikeme from Eatmepoptart, who will have you hollering along to your go-to guilty pleasures and alternative anthems.
