Like a raging demon indeed, dark synth producer Microchip Terror has dropped another manic number aptly called “Cyber Akuma”. There isn’t much discretion here and nary a bone of innocuousness. This is the kind of song you’d summon on a bad day, or if you desire to unleash hellfire and brimstone on your worst enemy. You can see the producer’s hardcore rock roots here, and it’s a sentiment that hits rapidly like a thousand-hit combo.
Mastered by Falling Islands from BlackLight Tribe, “Cyber Akuma” carries the essence of what Microchip Terror does best – a monstrous and brutal piece of calculated carnage. It has absolutely zero chill with its overblown kicks, industrial snares, villain synths and the producer’s own demonic growls that yell “Cyber! Akuma!” on malicious repeat. Buffed by a final boss tempo, it’s a rush of blood to the head that’s suited for your inner Aggretsuko.
