Don’t take NASH.D’s words with a pinch of salt. This is a stalwart industry figure who’s seen it all and been around the block. Long before he was a Marquee performer, NASH.D was racking up accolades at a young age, launching his prodigious career at just 17 when he competed in a televised DJ competition in his home country of Malaysia. The then-boy wonder went on to find his footing in the Singaporean circuit, thriving as a hip-hop phenom leaving his mark on the community. Not only was NASH.D a resident DJ for Refuge – one of Singapore’s now-defunct hip-hop institutions – he also co-founded the legendary Grizzle Grind Crew hip-hop collective, where he performs regularly with GGC peer and renowned rapper ShiGGa Shay.
But NASH.D has since evolved past his hip-hop forte to become a powerhouse across the spectrum. It’s a reliable quality that’s seen him open for the greats, supporting the likes of Hardwell, W&W, Alesso and even Bruno Mars. His mastery of all genres makes him an eloquent carver of journeys, earning him coveted spots at local music festivals like ZoukOut and Ultra, and regional spots in Kuala Lumpur (kyō), Manila (Black Market) and Yangon (MYST).
