KAOS In The CBD 2024: Thugshop Brings Back Its Massive Open-Air All-Day Event

Sound the alarm – Thugshop’s riled up another round of KAOS in the CBD. The nightlife titans asserted their scene dominance last year with the debut of its inaugural open-air and all-day event, invading the heart of the CBD in Maxwell Road with after-hour follow-ups in its three home habitats of Headquarters, Tuff Club and MDLR. Not even a year later, Thugshop drops its sophomore edition by sticking to the equation, promising another 12 hours of electronic music that showcases the strength of its programming. And the best part? All venues are located right smack in the middle of the city.

KAOS in the CBD 2024 kicks off with the open-air from 4pm, featuring the Singapore-based roster of Kevin Sy, Muto and Loyboy with their array of disco, Italo and EBM, before handing it over to the headlining duo of Soft Crash comprising Phase Fatale from Berghain and Pablo Bozzi from Imperial Black Unit. Following the outdoor festivities, the KAOS splits threeways into Thugshop’s three locales with the feisty techno assault of Mac Declos at Headquarters (with Deen, Amber H and Emma SS), the melodic house of BOg at Tuff Club (with Boon Shao and EJ Missy), and more of that hard-hitting techno with Clara Cuvé at MDLR (with Haan, Jamie React and Vaibs). Take your pick, or hit ’em all if you have the stamina.
The comeback of KAOS in the CBD comes fresh on the heels of Thugshop’s recent developments in the scene. They include the launch of its Ø Gravity concept that favours events with melodic house and techno hues. And not to mention the soft launch of its latest rooftop hangout, Higher Ground, situated adjacently to Headquarters at 64 Boat Quay. But for now, Thugshop just wants you to embrace the KAOS.
