Polygon Makes Its Singapore Debut Outside Of Wonderfruit For The AFTER 2049 Party
If you’ve ever wandered around the hallowed fields of Wonderfruit, you’d be familiar with the Polygon experience. Brandishing a forte in spatial audio technology, Polygon Productions will indeed be concocting its stage spells at the Thai festival later this year, but it’s about to tease a preview with its Asia debut outside of Wonderfruit – yes, it’s in Singapore.
Polygon Productions will be teaming up with TOKEN2049 – the world’s largest Web3 conference happening in Singapore during the high-octane F1 season – for its official post-event hubbub, AFTER 2049. Once again, the AFTER 2049 revelries will be soaring high at Marina Bay Sands’ SkyPark Observation Deck, promising another electronic escapade in the skies with a Polygon upgrade. The Polygon setup prides itself on being an “immersive 360° live sound experience”, featuring speaker stacks in a circle powered by L-Acoustics L-ISA technology which moves music through the audience. Engineered to redefine the consumption of live performances, Polygon’s prowess needs to be felt in person for full effect.
And with a configuration like this, Polygon Productions and AFTER 2049 are not letting it go to waste. That’s why it’s invited an international lineup headlined by Copenhagen’s WhoMadeWho, acclaimed hybrid performers who fuse electronics with live elements to unleash a blend of electronica, melodic techno and indie dance. Supporting the trio is South Africa’s Da Capo who’s been climbing through the ranks with his Afro-tinted productions, as well as the returning acts of AFTER 2049, ANONM, Leon, Milam and Mo-Shi for flurries of house and techno. With sound tuned quite like this, you’d wanna get your party on for Polygon.
AFTER 2049 x Polygon Productions, 20 September 2024, Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, 10 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018956. Folow AFTER 2049 on Instagram for more information on tickets and the event.
