The Boiler Room Phenomenon Is Returning To Singapore In July

If you missed sweating it out at Boiler Room’s debut in Singapore last year, you’re in for another treat. The longstanding industry phenomenon has just announced on its socials that it’s bound for a return shimmy to the +65 on 20 July. They’re keeping hush-hush on the other deets for now, but it’s only revealed that pre-sale begins on 31 May at 10am. Will it be another outdoor affair? Will it be an all-local lineup that celebrates the rich diversity of our scene, or another hybrid ensemble of homegrown and international acts? Just wait and see.

Revered for its gargantuan role in the industry as a live-recording concept, Boiler Room finally made its way to Singapore in the tail-end of July in 2023, collaborating with Heineken to celebrate its 150th year. It was a milestone affair that took place at Tanjong Pagar Distripark and boasted a crew of local selectors such as Dean Chew, Kaye, Aalely, PETYET, Kindergarchy, Helios XL, Zig Zach, Sivanesh, Jenn Chunes and Bongomann. Going beyond local talent, Boiler Room also took the opportunity to showcase international names, Alex Kassian as well as Kamma and Masalo.
