Dance For Life: Collective Minds & Mandala Club Unite 7 Crews For This Charity Gig For Gaza
Dance music has the universal power to rally communities and support causes, and it’s not a gift that’s lost on us Singaporeans from our tiny speck on the map. With all the tragedy that’s been plaguing Gaza, our scene is standing up to raise funds for those in need. This could be your chance to make a difference.
Organised by Collective Minds and Mandala Club, Dance for Life is a charity gig with a mission to support the humanitarian efforts of Love Aid SG. The charity was set up to provide aid and food to refugees in Gaza, and this event aims to raise S$10,000 from all ticket sales, donations and a percentage of the bar sales. You have the option of buying an event ticket for $40, or if you prefer to do your bit without attending, you can make a donation of $30. Either way, your help will go a long way.
Spreading positivity and unity, Dance for Life has gathered several music collectives to take part in this all-day get-together from 12pm till 11pm – and what an ensemble of super friends it is. Soundtracking this charity affair is a shimmering lineup of 14 selectors, representing the crews of Darker Than Wax, GrooveTop, Ice Cream Sundays, Manifest, North East Social Club, Sivilian Affairs and Wild Pearl. Many genres, one good fight.
The scene has spoken by coming together. What do you say?
