Tropika & Kampong Boogie Assemble An All-Star Lineup Headlined By The Legendary DJ Krush

One collective peddles an atlas of sounds with worldly curation that fosters mindfulness and inclusivity. The other is an ardent champion of open-format underground sounds. And together, Tropika and Kampong Boogie are a match made in party heaven, uniting for a very special headliner.

Returning to perform in Singapore for the first time in 10 years, the legendary DJ Krush has been billed for Tropika’s and Kampong Boogie’s next outing. The Japanese sonic alchemist – who has been active since 1985 – is a multi-genre wanderer, evolving from his seminal contributions in instrumental hip-hop to left-field forays in trip-hop and bass music. Adept sampler and turntablist who even has a mixer named after him, DJ Krush remains influential and inspired at 62, having released his latest Saisei headtrip of an album earlier this year.

Tropika and Kampong Boogie have also assembled an all-star lineup of homegrown heavyweights. Supporting DJ Krush is the collective-representing crew of Kiat (Syndicate), Nez Senja (Revision Music), Drem (Matteblacc) and Ramesh (Tropika).
