Sunda Festival 2025 Pulls Out All The Stops For Its First-Wave Lineup Set For Easter Weekend

The path to Sunda Festival 2025 was paved when the Road to Sunda prelude event kicked off earlier in October, channelling the same out-in-the-wild energy that made the camping music event a standout affair. After letting that hype build up and simmer, the Sunda organisers have finally released its first-wave lineup for next year’s shenanigans and it’s shaping up to be a doozy.  

It’s evident that the Sunda squad – comprising Ice Cream Sundays and FuFu Creative – have pulled out the big guns for this ensemble. You’ve got Japanese house icon Soichi Terada whose ebullient sounds come alive with live electronic setups (and playful crowd interactions). Yu Su’s locked in for the Sunda ride with her genre-twisting journeys that span downtempo and left-field electronica. And Mogwaa makes a return to Singapore, joining Sunda with another live set armed with a melodious, psych-tinged repertoire.

Joining these international acts is an equally buzzworthy, all-star lineup of homegrown aces. Sunda 2025 sees a balanced mix of veterans and fresher faces, including vinyl connoisseur Zai, Mugic pioneer Ulysses, house revivalist Halal Sol, 5210PM ambassador Loyboy, Darker Than Wax flava-maker Daryl Knows, and a showcase from Revision Music. DJ performances aside, you’re also gonna get live gigs from jazzy whiz Fzpz, soulful unit Sappy Chill and fusion band Mantravine.

To make the news just a little sweeter, Sunda Festival 2025 has even announced an opening night on 17 April at MDLR, featuring a special guest performance by Rush Hour Records chieftain Antal whose globe-spanning song collection is the stuff of legend. It’s the perfect start to what’s looking to be a beautiful Sunda Festival weekend at Sarimbun Scout Camp, taking place on the Easter weekend of 18-19 April 2025. No excuses not to camp now.
